Agenda – Next Meeting – 7 May

The next meeting of the Tuggeranong Community Council will be held at 7.30pm on the 7th May at the Vikings Town Centre Club, cnr. Athlon Drive and Rowland Crescent, Greenway. We will have a report on the results of the research being done on Lake Tuggeranong.  We will then have a short Candidates Forum for the Candidates for the new Federal electorate of Bean.

Proposed Boundary Changes for ACT electorates – Most mention changes to Tuggeranong electorates

ACT residents were invited to suggest how Legislative Assembly electoral boundaries could be redrawn for the 17th October, 2020 ACT election. Next Meeting – 2 Apr

At our next Tuggeranong Community Council meeting, we will hear about the new Whole of Government Communication and Engagement Plan – a very relevant topic for all of us.  We will also have a representative from the Canberra Islamic Centre talking to us about their role and activities.  This meeting will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday the 2nd April at the Vikings Town Centre Club, Crt Athlon Drive and Rowland Crescent, Greenway.

Moving Canberra: Integrated Transport Strategy – 2019-2045

The ACT government has just released its vision for an integrated Transport network called ‘Moving Canberra: Integrated Transport Strategy – 2019-2045’. It shows a range of options for moving people around the city. Next Meeting – 5 Mar

The next meeting of the TCC will be held at 7.30pm on the 7th August at the Vikings Tuggeranong Town Centre, Anketell Street Tuggeranong.  We will hear about last year’s Play Space Forum  and what is planned for playground upgrades in Tuggeranong.  People from Transport Canberra are also coming to tell us about “Moving Canberra: Integrated Transport Strategy 2019 to 2045. Responses to this transport proposal are due in by the end of March so please come and hear what is being suggested.
