The Tuggeranong Community Council Youth Engagement Sub-committee (with the support of the TCC and Communities at Work) will be running its annual TCC Youth Engagement Forum from 12pm to 3pm on Wednesday the 15th May at Communities@Work – 245 Cowlishaw Street, Tuggeranong.
There annual Youth Engagement Forums have run since 2017. We invite two to six students from each high school and college in Tuggeranong to come and give their opinions on various topics, decided on by the committee after reviewing the annual Youth Surveys.
All feedback provided from the participants will be collated and a summary report provided to all participants and participating schools. The summary will be circulated to relevant ACT Government Directorates, where applicable. The Tuggeranong Community Council will also incorporate overarching themes into submissions provided to the ACT Government and advocate on behalf of young people within the region.
